The ACCP Research Institute, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is the research arm of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). The mission of the ACCP Research Institute is to advance pharmacotherapy through support and promotion of research, training, and educational programs.

Founded in 1979, ACCP has grown from 29 inaugural members to more than 17,000 members in 2016. ACCP, a nonprofit 501(c)(6) association, is a member-driven organization committed to excellence in clinical pharmacy practice, research, and education. ACCP's members practice in a variety of settings, including ambulatory care environments, hospitals, colleges of pharmacy and medicine, pharmaceutical industry, government and long-term care facilities, and managed care organizations.
